Is Wasta free for creators?
Yes. Building a profile, browsing campaigns and applying will always be free. We take no commission from creators. The platform is paid for by the businesses.
My following is small. Will I still get work?
Yes. Businesses usually need the right audience, not a big name. Creators between 5,000 and 20,000 followers often have the strongest engagement, and smaller businesses look for exactly that.
Do I have to connect Instagram?
You do not have to, but we recommend it. Connecting puts your real numbers on your profile, which builds trust and brings better campaigns. We only read your stats. We cannot post and we cannot message anyone.
How do I get paid?
On cash deals the money goes into escrow first. You deliver the content, the business approves it, and the payment is released to you. On barter deals the shipment is tracked on the platform too.
What if a business ghosts me?
That is what escrow is for. The money is already secured before the work starts. If there is a dispute we step in, and the record from both sides is there.
Who decides the rates?
You do. You set your starting rates on your profile and send your own quote on every campaign. Wasta only shows ranges so you have a sense of the market.
